There were many sides and many secrets to my brother, but I want to briefly share with you the person I knew and loved. He was always there for me when I needed him. He loved his family. I will always treasure our last time together as a family on July fourth of this year. He displayed this love with tremendous affection during Tevins wedding. It was a real family reunion as we also celebrated Cherise's birthday. There were lots of happy moments like that during our lifetime. One of them was the Christmas in Trinidad with our mother. On behalf of our brother Wayne and the rest of the family On behalf of his children Christopher, Charles, Terrel, Tevin, and Mauricio, On behalf of his grandchildren, Taleiah, Mason, Xander, Isla-Illiona, and Kylie On behalf of his nieces and nephews: Maureen, Cherise, Jonathan, Gregoire, Marc, Alexandre I want to read a poem that I compiled to honor his journey to the other side. Death always comes as a surprise It's pain that does not discriminate against poor or rich black or white Or anyone in between She takes us by the hand Escort us to the Land To our last home Where there are no powerful Kings or Dazzling princesses only children of our most gracious god In conclusion, Good bye, Adios, Adieu, Arrivaderci, until we meet again May you find peace! May god bless you! Debbie

To some he was Anthony but to family, to me my Uncle David. Being the only girl until my sister came, we all know I was his "one and only" niece as he would say, but with 5 boys- know I was his "only girl". Coming from humble beginnings in Trinidad, emigrated to the U.S. at 17, worked as a truck driver to then going to college as an adult to earn his degree in I.T. He loved talking computers, cars, music & travel. He was the cool uncle, that was approachable and can have candid talks with. By no means a perfect man but no one is. He married more than a few times- I had asked him "are you in love with the idea of being in love, cause you don't have to marry every one you meet"! To which he chuckled and said "sweetheart, you're right". In 2019 When we got news that he had an aneurysm- we all took time to come down visiting daily in the hospital and for those who know my dad, Wayne - he made sure uncle David had 3 hot, fresh square meals a day. Uncle David didn't even wait for the food to cool down- glad to get a home cooked and "back home meal". You know they say you should give a person their flowers while they're here to which I truly have to thank Terrell, Tevin, Tim and auntie Nicole for nursing him back to himself. Funny enough, despite being divorced I must say uncle David & aunty Nicole truly stood the test of in sickness and in health cause when she suffered a stroke last year he made sure he was there. My fondest memories- was in Brooklyn the time we spent the night and he made pancakes in the shape of Mickey and this past July 4th when we all had brunch at his house for my birthday. Quite a difference from the times we would talk when he was in N.Carolina. You can tell he was in his element- being with family. I hadn't seen him smile and truly enjoy himself-like he was free to be him and happy to be with his family. We all are just here for a time and you truly left your mark, but the time we spent together and the fond memories I will treasure and always remember you by.

To my dear brother in law. Anthony Osborne affectionately known as David. You will be missed tremendously by your children Christopher, Charles, Terrell, Tevin, and Moricio. Who will now give their opinion as why I married your sister Debbie and then laugh. You were the first one on the scene when she was at the hospital. She was the first one on the scene when you were in the hospital. This sort of camaraderie helped her recuperate expeditiously. She and I loved you very much. Thanks for driving us around in Trinidad. I could not drive on the other side of the road to save my life, and you helped when I made wrong turns. Thank you. Us Haitians don't know the difference between "Shark and Bake" versus "Bake and Shark" but thanks to you I ate a delicious sandwich at Maracas Beach. Now you will join my favorite group of people who have traveled to the other side, my mom and dad, your mom, your aunties, my sister. They will show you the way, and guide you, and protect you up there as a new arrival. God bless. Rest In Peace. And May the grace of our lord Jesus Christ anoint your spirit forever. Dr. Daniel Desrivieres

To my dear Uncle David, your memory will always be one of love and positivity. I still remember when you taught me how to build a computer when I was a kid. Telling me stories about your life to impart wisdom on me. Our family trips to the beach in Trinidad. Driving out to see me even if I was just passing through Florida for a few hours. Always reminding me how important it is to give love to your family. The lessons you taught me did not fall on deaf ears. The love you showed was always received. You will be missed. Rest Easy!
