March 18, 2024 Today I received a phone call and a text from a friend in California informing me of my brother's passing. I immediately called my brother Ed Lee. We are indeed sorry to hear of Ivory's passing. We wished we could have know of his memorial service. With heart-felt sadness, Delbra Arline

Have know Ivory since the days of Moorehead. They lived on Orange St and we lived on Church St. Our houses were back to back. Ivory, Don, Mary, Audrey were all older but I knew them well. Hearing this news saddens me, as it's like losing a part of one's history. Ivory used to throw football passes to me on Orange St. Wow. I send my condolences to the Figgs family. We knew Ivory from Saturday downtown having coffee. He taught us all about the history of Lakeland. We were always glad when we ran into him and he brought a ray of sunshine to our day. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
