Our family stems back to Morehead Roots. Just to hear my mom Sarah Davenport share stories of there upbringing is so enjoyable to hear. I never will forget Ms. Mary took me to several prenatal visits and to the hospital October 5, 1982 when I went into labor. She and my sister Sabrina developed a bond during Sabrina's battle with cancer. Ms. Mary's life displayed Love in so many way. R.I.H. Love T-baby.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Mary. I can remember when I was a little girl, back in Citrus Gardens, I use to go to Mrs. Mary house almost everyday not only to play with Thosia, but to hang out with Mrs. Mary, helping her around the house, scratching her head for hours and going to the store for her. Mrs Mary taught me how to get money from an early age- we were partners playing cards together. She use to make homemade ice cream and the only person I knew who use to cook breakfast for dinner. As the years past, I moved to Georgia and every time I came to Lakeland I would stop to see her with my kids. I love you Mrs Mary-rest in peace with my mama. - Marlo

A mother n law to remember. I will miss the phone calls to my husband 5 times a day and you saying make me laugh. It was a joy playing spades and hanging out with you too! You making the kids cheer for you and B. Although we won I guess you were a good sport. You will be missed, rest in paradise! Ulonda

I remember always being at your house and out of all the girls I was the only one you like to step on your back because you said I was the only who stepped on the right spots and every Saturday you took us to Kelly Rec and afterwards to Chick-fil-A to get ice cream...and there's much more memories that I'll never forget I love you always.

I love you grandma, I miss you already and. I know you're up there smiling down on me and everyone else. All I can do is think about all the good times we've had together, especially when you use to take me and my cousins to feed the birds back in the good ole days❤️. I love you and you are my Eternal Sunshine. -Alexis
